Other , and are not worth mentioning, completely trash, usable, or hard to obtain until you can get your hands on better weapons.
I’m just curious about those endgame tier 14* weapons and i’d like to listen a bit from your own opinion in this scenario i’m about to give, If ever you had the chance to get a 14* (rifle only) you desired but you can only get 2 as the limit which 2 14*s would you pick and why? thanks in advance i just wanna hear your thoughts 🙂

Right now I’d pick Shien Rifle and Atra Rifle.
Shien Rifle for min-maxing damage; Shien series supports S-class abilities, allowing you to increase your damage by an additional 10% for a total of 28% with the right set of abilities.
Atra Rifle would be for utility/general; Atra Rifle’s S4 ability grants passive immunity to knockback while Standing Snipe is in effect, allowing you to DPS uninterrupted.

About the rifle Spread Needle, how practical is it in the long run? and is it worth getting it from zieg for 500 crest ?
LikeLike
Spread Needle is practical in the sense you can maintain the distance required by the potential (roughly 2 dive rolls) to get nigh unmatched PP regen and a 10% damage bonus. It’s additional attack (Antique Shot) can provide extra damage per Dive Roll Shoot, moreso than any other rifle. However, with all this being said the utility that S-Class Abilities provide can be more valuable than SN’s potential, usually without a conditional. With having new SSAs come roughly every update, and the future update to transfer SSAs between weapons, rifles such as Shien, Atra and Lumiere have an edge over SN in terms of “futureproof” capability.
Is it worth using 500 crests? If you want something else or already have one of the three aforementioned rifles then ehhh not really. Hope this answers your question.

sorry if this seems somewhat unrelated but what should I do with 14*’s for other classes I don’t play as. Been wondering for a while will there ever be a zieg exchange like how the Slave-NT’s and Nemesis-NT’s are. Ranger and Hunter weapons I plan to keep but everything else despite having lvl’d all of them to at least 80 just seems pointless as I don’t plan to main as any other classes. (Using them for affixes came into my head but Ability IV isn’t exactly all that great compared to what else is out there these days. Would it be crazy of me to desynthesis them?

You can’t desynthesize 14*’s, so you’ll have to let it sit in your storage, or if you really have no plan on playing other classes, toss them out.

Oh wait what you can’t? Will just let em sit there then I guess. Thank you for the response :3

Regarding the Sigma Gyler can I reach the Dex needed to equip it through just levelling? I just happened to get so might aswell.

Yeah. Just need to level more.

Asides from the DEX requirement difference between Astral Riser and Yasminokov 7V, is one objectively “better” than the other? I can equip either or and I have the badges to trade, just wanted to see if there was more to it before making my decision

They’re close in power that it doesn’t really matter which you choose, but I’d suggest going for Nemesis/Slave instead as those are currently the stronger weapon.

how is the vitol mirage for launcher? ive had it a while and i have 8 affix on it with +80ra

Placeholder. I’d keep it incase SEGA decides to include a recipe involving Orbit/Mirage/etc series.

Quick question, how about the Avenger rifle from the Unique badge shop? That also worth getting or nah?

Not worth, Yas7kV and/or Astral Riser are superior choices if you had to buy one.

Would it be worth to get Shooting drive or one of the assault rifles(Astral and Yasminokov)? I am currently still using the Nox weapons while I farm for nemesis. Or are there any other better alternatives before nemesis?
LikeLike
I’d probably upgrade your Launcher first (Shooting Drive, Cannon Revolsio) so you can farm Ultimate Quests easier. Nox Rifle is okay as a placeholder until then, but you’ll probably tickle bosses.

Question, on the Austere weapon series, it has 3 different potentials. I’m guessing you can only pick one of the three when grinding out the weapon and you don’t get all three potentials at once…. Which would you pick, the one that grants various stats depending on the Mag for maxing your PB gauge, the Nemesis Shield, or the Slave shield?
I ask because you mention combining the Nemesis and Slave weapons, but don’t mention the Austere weapon in either Recommended or Honorable Mention sections at all for some reason, even though that is what they craft into… Which I found a little odd…..
LikeLike
The austere weapons have been powercreeped out in JP, and there wasn’t really much reason to make a write-up for a unreleased weapon in NA.
That being said, yes you can only pick one of the three on Austere. The photon blast mag is the best… if you have 5 mags lying around to max the effects, otherwise go with the other two.

Thank you very much. I thought I’d ask because it was mentioned that Nemesis and Slave craft into something but the craft wasn’t mentioned.
I do happen to have 4 mags on one character (who will normally be used as a ranger), so I guess I’ll need to think about raising a 5th later…. Not sure what stats I’d do on a 5th though, with the other 4 being pure stat mags….

You say to save your Nemesis and Slave weapons for upgrading to 15* – do you mean to save only Nemesis/Slave Shooter/Cannon, or can I save the TMG Bullet/Soaring Blades/rods? To make the 15* does it need to be the same type of weapon? Where can I get more info about that 15* weapon?

Must be of the same type, so both Slave & Nemesis Rifle and Launcher.
Zieg/Zig/Jig’s shop next to the Item Lab NPC should give you a basic rundown of the Austere upgrade path.
If not, check out this link: http://www.bumped.org/psublog/how-to-acquire-your-first-15-star-weapon/

I been hearing that liberators are obsolete now for jp, is that true?

Atlas EX Plus and Stil series beats Liberate in general situations since they offer more damage, but Liberate still offers solid QoL benefits since it can use S4 & S5 slots.

Hello, I’m pretty new to this game. I need some advice about affix, what affixes you recommended for Atlas Ex (since there’s SSA that’s not in NA yet) ? assuming I have Atlas with 8 slot.
Also when doing evolve to Atlas Ex do I use Atlas weapon for the base or Lumiere ? and will it carrying Atlas or Lumiere affixes ?
I kinda want to do it now, so I’m looking for whats BiS affixes currently NA have/

On Atlas? Here’s my canned response:
At this time of writing (October 7th 2020), aim for:
S1: Aggressive Will
S2: Goliathslayer’s Resolve (+35 Mars weapon) or S2: Photon Reduction
S3: Lucent Strike (There’s very little S3 options so you “could” go with whatever.)
S4: Mettle of the Rested (Rifle S4, immunity to flinch while stationary) or S4: Photonic Trap (Launcher S4, +20% more PP gained from Tactical Traps)
As for augments, unless you’re a super whale/been saving up, going for Tir Di Soul/Precision IV/Graceful Precision/Omega Reverie is fine.
Pick Atlas as the base, as it will transfer the affixes of whichever’s your base (and Lumiere doesn’t have S4).

I decided to get Atlas Ex for Launcher and Lightstream for Rifle. But would it be better to get Atlas Ex rifle instead of Lightstream and vice versa. Between this 2 series which one’s would be better for rifle and launcher. Also I sometimes like to use the bow, i know it’s not related to Ranger but what bow would you recommend. I can invest on only 1 bow for playing with it sometimes. Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Personally I prefer Atlas Ex on Rifle and Lightstream Launcher; reason being is that Launcher is more PP hungry over Rifle, and having a instant PP-refill in mobbing situations lets you clear mob clusters easily. Atlas EX’s on Rifle lets you upkeep DPS (assuming you’re using the immunity to flinching S4), which is much harder to replace than instant PP refreshes (which Ranger traps can match what Lightstream does).
I can’t comment on what Bullet Bow wants, sorry!

Is it difficult to get the Circular Amphritite Stone. How many of the stone is getable in the game. Is it going to be too difficult to make 2 Lightstream weapons.

I can’t recall how many obtainable sources there are, but you can get 1 for killing Dark Falz Persona 50 times (title reward), and 1 through Zieg’s shop (Limited Sage Crest exchange)
